This one struck me like lightning. I was watching a storm and thought, a game where you walk through raindrops. But why? Acid. And I came up with the tilting perspective bullet time mechanic.

The initial prompt;

"So the idea is there is acid rain, and the player has the ability to slow time, but they still have to dodge the acid rain drops while time is frozen. It will be a puzzle platformer metroidvania. They will find upgrades like; an umbrella they can use to float distances, acid proof jacket that lets them get through dense rain areas, spike boots so they don't slip going up a hill in the rain (even with time frozen), etc. they should unlock new regions of the map.

We will be a worker at an industrial facility who works at the bottom. Acid has started spewing from the highest part of the facility, cascading down to the lower areas. The acid not only burns, it mutates the biological material it comes in contact with. Rats become grotesque vicious beings, some workers who got caught in the acid "rainfall" have been turned to crazed zombies, etc.

You fight your supervisors/managers up the facility as bosses/mini bosses. There should be shortcut elevators to earlier areas after defeating a boss. Mini bosses usually lead to a key progess item like the jacket, umbrella, boots, etc.

We'll have break rooms as the safe zone, you can heal (drink coffee), talk to other worker NPCs for lore and trading/merchants.

Your healing is your coffee thermos. You refill it at the break rooms.

As you platform puzzle metroidvania your way to the top you are shutting valves and closing gaps to stop acid rain from hindering your journey. This makes going back to the early areas less hazardous.

We'll have a weapon crafting system similar to Vagrant Story. You find materials through combat or scavenging/lockers. Weapons are what you put your experience into, unlocking "skilled trades" instead of "Break arts"

The game would end with you shutting off the main valve and fighting the CEO who did it on purpose for the insurance claims on everyone's lives and the facility.

Game ends with you unemployed but alive. You just cut off one head of the Hydra that is The Corporation/ the Board. This ending leaves room for a sequel. Thoughts?"
